Davis’s Gallery is listed in The Year’s Art 1886. This was the only time the gallery appeared in this publication. The listing notes that in 1885 the gallery exhibited “The Duke of Marlborough’s Collection of Teniers’ copies of famous pictures, during the season.” (63)
